"1st full day we volunteered at a beautiful place called Hogar Manos Abriertas
which was a orphanage for mentally disabled men, women, and children. We
helped the nuns there by sorting medication in the pharmacy. Last night we
attended the weekly Rotary meeting of Alajuela and it was very similar to Southside
Rotary club meetings and they were very welcoming !"

Pepper Tucker, also a volunteer, shared the following information.
"The following pictures were taken during a meeting between our volunteers and
Jose Luis Pacheco (former President of Rotary Club in Alajuela).  Everyone helped
that day at a foundation in Costa Rica, dedicated to taking care of almost 100 people
in a state of abandonment.  It was a very interesting meeting."
