Greetings Rotary Members and Community Supporters!
As we kickstart this year of Rotary success, Sulu is thrilled to share with you the wonderful events and inspiring speakers we had during the month of July. Our club has been bustling with activity, and we couldn't be prouder of the engagement and dedication shown by each and every one of you.
July Speakers:
Seneca Holland - Point of Beginning Initiative: We started the month on an inspiring note with Seneca Holland, a passionate advocate for the Point of Beginning Initiative. Seneca shed light on the critical need for a skilled workforce in the geospatial and land surveying fields, with a focus on Texas. The initiative aims to establish a Geospatial Engineering and Land Surveying Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathway for K-12 students. It was heartening to see our club members eager to support such a worthy cause.
Al Raymond CBO - Development Services Overview: Our second speaker, Al Raymond, gave us a comprehensive overview of Development Services. It was an informative session that expanded our understanding of the various services available to our community. Thank you, Al, for sharing your expertise with us.
Jonathan Atwood - C C Marina Manager: We had the pleasure of welcoming Jonathan Atwood, the Corpus Christi Marina Manager. His talk enlightened us about the marvelous developments and future plans for the Corpus Christi Marina. It's exciting to witness how the city's growth is being shaped by dedicated individuals like Jonathan.
Club Fellowship - 4th Wednesday of Every Month: A special announcement was made during July! We have designated the 4th Wednesday of each month as "Club Fellowship" day. This is a chance for us to come together as a close-knit Rotary family, fostering stronger bonds and camaraderie among our members. We're eager to enjoy each other's company and make our club an even more welcoming and supportive community.
