Chief Markle talked to the group about the
Corpus Christi Police Department and how
the department is organized to serve the city.
Given that the CCPD is the only full-service
police department in the area, it is structured
as a self-service department.
Chief Markle said that the mission of the CCPD
is to work as an equal partner with the community
to reduce crime, the fear of crime and to improve
the quality of life in the community.
For his presentation, Chief Markle received a Tacks Shelter from President Nancy Foster.
