 Thank you for agreeing to say the invocation for our Rotary Meeting.  The Rotary Club of 
 Southside Corpus Christi includes persons of many different religions, beliefs and ideals,
 and we aim to respect the  religious beliefs of others, while remaining faithful to our own.  
 Please make your invocation a non-denominational,  inclusive one that recognizes these
 religious diversities and avoid references pertinent only to a particular set of religious  beliefs.

The first meeting for the Adoption Awareness Picnic will be held this
Tuesday, September 22nd from 5:15 - 6:15 at the Rotary office in Furman
Plaza Suite 300.  The focus of this meeting is assigning responsibilities 
for the event.  Contact Richard Espinosa, our club representative for
more details.

The Board Meeting will be held this week (September 23) at 11 AM at the Country
Club

The Rotaract Club of TAMU-CC wishes to thank Richard Espinosa, Christine Udeani 
and George Udeani for attending their first meeting last Wednesday!
 
The Rotaract Club also participated in the Rotary Institute Youth Conference this 
past weekend in San Antonio, by sending four of its members.

Early Act First knight (EAFK) Assemblies have been finalized: First up
will be two sessions on October 1,  PK - 2nd Grade at 8:15 AM and 3rd -
5th grades at 9:00 am.  Both sessions will be held at Rose Shaw Special
Emphasis (Elementary) School.  Please check your calendars, and plan
to attend.
 
Other dates for the EAFK Assemblies at Rose Shaw Special Emphasis School
are as follows:

 and Bryan Flores.

According to Ted Garcia, both students were selected because
of their heavy involvement in community work, while maintaining
excellent grades. Both students are also involved in multiple
school organizations.

 she was unable to do this.  Instead, she answered questions
