Classification Talk

Jennifer Smith-Engle 's classification is "Education, University, Geology."  When Jennifer studied Geology it was still a field dominated by men. Things have changed. The key employers then, were the oil field. There too, Geologists had to seek other venues and are now scattered throughout a variety of activities.
New Member Induction Ceremony

Today's Program
Past President Lari Young introduced today's speaker, Reba George.  Ms. George is one of 5 Superintendents working for the City of Corpus Christi’s Parks and Recreation Department. Prior to working for the city, Reba also taught Accounting and Business Law at King High School and worked as a Degree Counselor for Texas A&M University. After graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business in the Fall of 1987, Reba applied and was selected to represent Rotary as an graduate student ambassador in Melbourne, Australia – attending Bundoora University and living on campus during most of 1989.

Ms. George commented on the slideshow of her stay in Australia and told us of her great memories and of her search through the Internet of her Rotarian hosts.
