Friday February 16 Boy Scout Troop 69 Fundraiser Event at Panda Express at Saratoga Blvd & Cimarron between 10a.m.-11p.m. Come in and show the attached flyer. 20% of proceeds will be donated the scout troop.

Tuesday February 27 EAFK, Rose Shaw Elementary, the speaker will be Southside's own John Owen. He will tell about his Polio experience. It is a great speech if any members would like to come and hear him.

This year’s keynote speaker is Representative Todd A. Hunter, currently in his ninth term representing Texas State House District 32. He serves as the Chairman of the Calendars Committee, Vice Chairman of Criminal Jurisprudence and a member of the County Affairs Committee. He served in the house from 1989-1997, then again starting in 2008 to the present. Hunter has practiced law since 1978 and is currently a partner of The Law Office of Todd A. Hunter in Corpus Christi. Todd and his wife, Alexis Taylor Hunter, have three children: Todd Jr., Michael, and Christina.
