  1. Friday February 16 Boy Scout Troop 69 Fundraiser Event at Panda Express at Saratoga Blvd & Cimarron between 10a.m.-11p.m.  Come in and show the attached flyer. 20% of proceeds will be donated the scout troop.   
  2. Saturday February 17 PRESIDENTS DAY FLAG PROJECT with the Boy Scouts - 7:30a.m. at both Corpus Christi Townhomes and Carriage Park.  We appreciate help from all members.  Thanks for your assistance.  Look for the email from Erasmo Nava which contains maps to the areas.
     
  3. Wednesday February 21 our program at our noon meeting will be Capt. Steve Banta, USN Retired, new Executive Director of the USS Lexington Museum.   He will brief us on Current & Future Opportunities at the USS Lexington!
     
  4. Early Bird Registration closing soon for "Discover the Magic of Rotary" District Conference at South Padre Island, Texas on April 20-22, 2018.   6. Tuesday February 27 EAFK, Rose Shaw Elementary, the speaker will be Southside's own John Owen.  He will tell about his Polio experience.  It is a great speech if any members would like to come and hear him.
     
  7. Collection of goods for the Women's Shelter through February.  President-Elect Christine Eudeani is collecting items for the Women's Shelter through the month of February.  Executive Secretary Erasmo Nava sent out an email with the list of items needed. 
     
  8. Registration is now open for our 12th Annual Administrative Professionals Day Luncheon on Wednesday April 25, 2018 at noon at the Corpus Christi Country Club.  See attached flyer. This year’s keynote speaker is Representative Todd A. Hunter, currently in his ninth term representing Texas State House District 32.  He serves as the Chairman of the Calendars Committee, Vice Chairman of Criminal Jurisprudence and a member of the County Affairs Committee. He served in the house from 1989-1997, then again starting in 2008 to the present.  Hunter has practiced law since 1978 and is currently a partner of The Law Office of Todd A. Hunter in Corpus Christi. Todd and his wife, Alexis Taylor Hunter, have three children: Todd Jr., Michael, and Christina.
