RY 2015-2016

Club Achievements

Our club achieved the Gold-Level Rotary International Presidential Citation for Rotary year 2015-16 (President: Michelle Maresh-Fuehrer). We were one of only 5 clubs in the District to achieve the highest distinction.
Our club was recognized as a District Exemplary Club for Rotary year 2015-16 (President: Michelle Maresh-Fuehrer). A trophy was presented at the District Assembly luncheon on Friday, April 22, 2016 in Laredo, Texas.
Our club was recognized as a Premier Club in the District 5930 2015-2016 IGNITE Program (President: Michelle Maresh-Fuehrer). A patch was presented at the District Assembly luncheon on Friday, April 22, 2016 in Laredo, Texas.

Rose Shaw Elementary presented our club with a plaque in recognition of our service to their school through the Early Act First Knight program.
Our club was recognized with a Certificate from PDG Art Zeitler for Significant Financial Support to End Polio in Rotary year 2014-15 (President: John Owen). The certificate was presented at the District Assembly luncheon on Friday, April 22, 2016 in Laredo, Texas.
As a result of an article about our Memorial Day Flag Project published in the Corpus Christi Caller-Times on June 6, 2015, our club was presented with the "Youth Service Award" from the International Fellowship of Scouting Rotarians
